one year on... |
March 4, 2018 |
What's up dude? I always wondered why you called me "dude"? lol. One year on and it still seems like a very bad dream...teeth gnashing, total stomach upset. what happened? I've replayed the last few months of your last days and it doesn't make sense. it's a harsh reality. Unfortunately, bad things happen to good people.
From the time christine and I were young, you were always there for us. you played big brother and not big cousin. that is how our relationship was until your demise. It is often said that you only realize the worth of a person, when they are gone. Even with your flaws, you were an innate good person. you were kind and generous. very very funny. even in your shyness. even when you were down and out, you always had hope for a better tomorrow. a better tomorrow you were building and in the twinkle of an eye, you were snatched from us. the physical separation is what is painful. but day by day, we heal and see you floating on your angel's wings and watching over us. Continue to watch over your kids. They are striving and making you proud I'm sure. Eternal rest grant unto Isaac O Lord, and let perpetual light continue to shine upon him. May his soul rest in peace. Rest in peace, brother, you were a wonderful human being. Will always miss you.

Big Bro Njeuma,
For a while now I have waited to no avail for the true story, the circumstances surrounding your untimely and painful departure. This story would have been best told by you, with all the ease and fun words you will use to make one laugh out their lungs, but rather I am still waiting… Njeuma, I want to laugh with tears in my eyes when you tell this story of how you beat through this one, on till that time, may God bless your soul and give it peace, may your kindness, loving and fund memories continue to brighten the hearts that bleed.
Requiescat in pace
